The New Port highrise complex is located in the heart of Port Moody British Columbia.   The slightly older complex was receiving a facelift both inside and out.  Vision Rope Access was hired to perform exterior renovations including weather stripping removal, replacement and repairs, water sealing, and precision painting.

Rope Access was the most cost-effective way to perform the required tasks due to the unique design of the building with large round sections and tiered balconies.   Rope Access techniques also made it possible to remove all the rigging at night and during periods of breaks in work, which greatly minimized the impact on the building’s residents.

I very much enjoyed working on this project.  The residents were very friendly.  Many people and children waved at me and I was even given a glass to tea to warm up while hanging on the side of the building.
