Accessing the Inaccessible

Many modern construction designs, especially in new highrise buildings, include large overhanging roof sections either at the top of the building or throughout the entire design.   These areas can be very difficult to access using conventional access methods such as swing stage, bosun chair, cranes, or zoom booms making work very difficult.

Using rope access techniques, working in these normally inaccessible areas is no longer a challenge.   Using a combination of multiple ropes, aid climbing techniques, removable anchors, and the flexibility offered by using proper rope procedures, Vision Rope Access can get the job done where no one else can.

At Kings Crossing in Burnaby, BC, a common challenge was applying weather sealing around window inserts,  installation of expansion joints and painting of the wall and bottom side of the roof below these large overhangs, 35 floors in the air.   Vision Rope Access was able to arrive on-site, quickly setup rope and get the job done with the highest quality of work.
